Pet location, smart feeding, and health monitoring, so caring for a pet is more scientific and less anxious
China has more than 120 million dogs and cats. Pet spending is above 250 billion yuan, and it has grown more than 20% a year. Households want a pet that is safe, healthy, and fed with some discipline. Lost animals, irregular meals, a health problem found late, and no way to look in while you are out are the ordinary worries. Built on IoT and connected hardware — a collar, a feeder, a water fountain, a camera — this solution locates the animal, feeds on a schedule and a portion, watches health data, and lets you interact from elsewhere.
It is used at home, in pet shops, in veterinary clinics, and in boarding. GPS and LBS track position, a geofence alarms when the animal leaves, and a lost pet can be found from the trail. Feeding can be scheduled and portioned, triggered by hand from the app, and flagged when the hopper is low, so the animal is neither overfed nor left hungry. The collar records activity, sleep, and heart rate, and weight records complete a health file. A camera shows the room, carries two-way audio, and can play with the animal, which eases separation. Veterinary care, insurance, and commerce can be connected, which opens health management and behavior analysis as further services.
Connected pet hardware is in fewer than 10% of homes, so the room to grow is large. Collar — under 50 g, more than 7 days of battery, IP67. Feeder — dry food, several meals, and a remaining-food reading. Camera — 1080p or better, a pan-tilt head, two-way audio, and motion detection. Health data — activity, sleep, and heart rate only stay useful if a clinic and an insurer can read them. Shops and boarding sites can use a multi-pet platform that handles devices in batches and reports remotely.
From where the animal is to how it is doing
GPS, LBS, and BeiDou track the animal live. A safe area alarms when it is crossed. A lost pet can be searched at once, and the trail can be replayed. The collar is light, and the battery is meant to last.
Food goes out on a schedule and a portion, with several meals in a day. The app can release a meal by hand, and a low hopper raises a reminder. The fountain circulates and filters, and it reports how much water is left.
The collar records activity, sleep, and resting heart rate. A scale records weight. Together they form a health file, and an abnormal reading raises an alert. A clinic and an insurer can read the same data.
The camera shows the room live, carries two-way audio, and can play with the animal. Motion detection and playback are included. You can look in while you are out, which eases separation.

The devices: a collar (GPS, Bluetooth, and sensors), a feeder or fountain on Wi-Fi, and a camera on Wi-Fi with a pan-tilt head. They connect to the IoT platform for device management, storage, and alerts.
Battery: the collar uses a low-power positioning chip and a power-saving plan, so it lasts from several days to several weeks. Fast charging and wireless charging are supported.
