Smart Door Lock

BLE / NB-IoT / Zigbee · Password, fingerprint, card · Apartment, hotel, and office access

Smart door locks and access management

The SimtoLink smart lock offers BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), NB-IoT, and Zigbee. It opens with a password, a fingerprint (biometric), a card, or a phone app, and it can join an apartment, hotel, or office access-control system for remote authorization, unlock records, and a low-battery alarm.

The cylinder is C-grade, against technical attack. The locks are in service in long-stay apartments, hotels, offices, and public rental housing, with more than 100,000 sets deployed. Customers report a failure rate below 0.5%.

Features and radio options

Configurations follow the radio and the way the door opens, for different access jobs. The table is a typical reference:

Item Typical specification Notes
Radio Bluetooth 5.0, NB-IoT, Zigbee Chosen for the site
How it opens Password, fingerprint, card, app Combined multi-factor check
Security and alarms Anti-pry, anti-trial, decoy password Low-battery alarm
Records and linkage 1,000 local records, OTA update Intercom and elevator control

Temporary passwords and recurring passwords are available. Fingerprint, password, and card can be combined as MFA. The lock can also work with an intercom and elevator control. Which of these you turn on depends on the project.

Typical applications and results

From long-stay apartments to hotels and office doors, the lock covers access in several industries. Typical jobs and what they achieved:

Remote codes for long-stay apartments

A long-stay apartment operator fitted 2,000 NB smart locks. Tenants open the door in the app, staff issue codes remotely, and a code dies when the tenant moves out. Management effort fell by 80%.

Hotel PMS integration

A hotel uses Bluetooth locks joined to a PMS (property management system), so check-in issues a code and check-out retires it.

Office access

A company fitted smart locks on 500 offices for staff rights, temporary visitor access, and a traceable unlock record.

Public rental housing

A public-rental project uses the locks so tenants can open remotely, staff can grant rights in bulk, and a lease end cancels access, which matches subsidized-housing rules.

Integration and selection

  • Platform join: An SDK and an API are there for the access system. The lock can sit on the SimtoLink IoT platform or a third-party platform. Unlock policy and permission groups can be set. Apartment software, a hotel PMS, and office OA can connect.
  • Rights: Cancel rights when a lease ends or someone leaves, so a leftover credential does not stay live. Keep an audit of unlock records for the security rule.
  • Batteries: Replace the cell when the low-battery alarm fires, or the door will not open. SimtoLink supplies a lock-management platform and integration support.
  • Delivery: SimtoLink can supply hardware through the platform, or only the module for your own integration. The admin console issues codes in bulk, manages rights, and looks up records.

Rollout and maintenance

A practical order for putting the locks in:

Requirements→ Radio and unlock method→ Platform join→ Site install→ Rights

SimtoLink helps with the SDK join so the access system comes together without a long integration loop.

Support

SimtoLink supplies the smart-lock module and an access platform for apartments, hotels, and offices, including SDK integration. Product manuals and proposal pricing are available.
