Product overview and where it fits

The SimtoLink flexible printable RFID label bonds an inlay to a printable face stock. It fits a logistics waybill, an asset card, and a tote label, and it is read in bulk at a door, on a conveyor, or with a handheld during a count.

SimtoLink can pre-assign the EPC, print a barcode or QR code on the same face, and add a tamper-evident die-cut line. The scratch-resistant coat and the adhesive can be chosen for pharmaceuticals, retail, or 3PL.

Reliability on site

Industrial molded protection and the wide temperature range are in the parameter table. On a curve or a soft pack, check how the bend radius changes the read range.

SimtoLink asks for a printed read-range sample on the real substrate — carton, film, or a metal-foil liner — before the print process and the thermal-transfer settings are locked.

Key hardware parameters

The ratings below are the typical build of this label, written so a specifier can cite them in a bid clause. For a custom band, a custom package, or volume UIDs, ask SimtoLink for the hardware specification and the installation and commissioning guide. Order codes in the same family can differ slightly; the nameplate and the documents in the box govern.

Typical applications

Four field patterns for this label, useful when you are laying out a scheme and checking payback:

E-commerce and 3PL outbound

A sortation line reads the labels at speed, so fewer cartons need a manual check.

Pharmaceuticals and cold-chain cases

The case label is tied to the warehouse count, and the batch can be traced.

Files and vouchers

The label flexes onto a folder spine, and compact shelving can be counted in place.

Retail loss prevention and display

Soft labels and hard tags can be mixed. An EAS/RFID door can read both, depending on the site.

Installation and maintenance

  • After printing, let the ink or ribbon cure so a wet coat does not cover the antenna.
  • Wipe dust and oil before you stick the label, and press the corners so the bubbles leave.
  • On a metal liner, check for detuning. If the read falls off, switch to an on-metal inlay.
  • The encode line keeps a TID-to-EPC list, and a bad label is set aside.
  • Outdoors for a long time, use a UV-resistant face stock and spot-check the read range.

Ordering, documents, and support

SimtoLink supplies the hardware specification, dimension drawings, a wiring table, and sample projects for this label. Volume orders can include a sample review and in-plant inspection. Warranty and calibration follow the contract and the documents shipped with the unit.
