Product overview and engineering role

The SimtoLink tamper-evident disposable seal tag closes a container hasp, a meter box, or an asset bag. Once it is pulled tight, the body cannot be put back without a visible break. A reader or a LoRaWAN report records who opened it, when, and where.

Silkscreened numbers and a pre-assigned database block are available. How vibration and similar fields trip follows the hardware specification.

Reliability and field fit

The industrial molded shell is hard to tear and stands weather. Wide-temperature range and battery life follow the nameplate. Outdoor sun calls for a UV-stable material.

Photograph the seal as it goes on, and bind the waybill or work-order number on the platform, so a reused number does not become a dispute.

Key hardware parameters

Ratings below are a typical build of this seal tag, for selection and for a tender clause. A custom band, a custom package, or a volume UID block is a separate order; ask SimtoLink for the hardware specification and the installation and commissioning guide. Order codes in the family can differ slightly. The nameplate and the papers shipped with the tags govern.

Typical applications

Four places this seal tag is usually applied:

Line-haul box trucks

A seal on the rear hasp, read and compared when the truck arrives.

Distribution and metering boxes

Evidence if someone opens the box or taps the supply.

Pharmaceutical logistics

Used beside a cold-chain logger tag, so custody along the chain is clearer.

Archives and pledged goods

A seal on the bag mouth. An unusual vibration says the bag was moved.

Installation, grounding, and maintenance

  • Pass it through the hasp and pull to the rated tooth. Do not glue over a break afterward.
  • The reader records the first bind time and the operator. An opening cancels the seal or marks it void.
  • The LoRaWAN key and DevEUI match the physical number one to one, so a clone does not pass.
  • Scrap a batch by shredding or high-temperature destruction, as environment and confidentiality rules require.
  • Set the vibration threshold for the vehicle and the road, so false trips stay down.

Ordering, documentation, and support

SimtoLink can supply the hardware specification, outline drawings, a wiring table, and an example project for this seal. Volume orders can include a sample review and inspection at the factory. Warranty and calibration follow the contract and the papers packed with the tags.
