Product overview and engineering role
The SimtoLink wall-mount industrial sealed enclosure fixes to a wall or a column and holds an RTU, a small PLC, a fiber transceiver, and a power module. It gives a sealed opening that can still be serviced where space is tight: electrical rooms, pump rooms, and equipment mezzanines.
Protection, cooling, and the EMC gasket in the table have to match the heat inside the box and the interference from nearby variable-frequency drives. Wall anchors and the load the wall can carry need a structural check. The Hardware Specification has the detail.
Reliability and site fit
On a heat-pipe model, thermal resistance has to stay stable where the condenser end meets the housing. A west-facing outdoor wall should have shade or a light-colored coating.
On the metal-door version, check the opening angle against the clear width of the corridor. SimtoLink recommends a quarterly look at the lock, the seal, and gland aging.
Key hardware parameters
The figures below are the typical build of this enclosure, for selection work and for the technical clauses of a tender. A wider range, redundant power, or an intrinsically safe explosion-proof variant is a separate discussion. Ask SimtoLink for the Hardware Specification and the Installation and Commissioning Guide. Order codes in the family can differ slightly. Follow the nameplate and the documents that ship with the enclosure.

Typical applications
Four places this enclosure usually lands, when you are shaping the scheme and the return:
Beside pump rooms and valve pits
Water-quality or pressure acquisition on the nearby wall, so the sensor cable stays short.
Small electrical rooms
Sub-metering, harmonic, or reactive-compensation communications terminals gathered in one enclosure.
Warehouse docks
Access control, reader power, and the switch sealed together.
Utility galleries and tunnels
Side-wall mounting in a narrow run, with the door opening toward the service walkway.
Installation, grounding, and maintenance
- On concrete or steel, use the matching expansion anchor or a welded bracket. Torque and the anti-rust coating should follow the applicable code.
- Leave a drip loop on the bottom gland so rain does not track in along the cable.
- An open door must not block a fire egress or an operating button.
- Crimp the internal DIN rail and the ground bar in one sound joint, so a loose connection cannot arc.
- On a high-temperature alarm or a fan fault, clear the dust promptly and replace the filter element if one is fitted.
Ordering, documents, and support
SimtoLink provides the hardware specification, outline drawings, a wiring table, and an example project for this enclosure. A volume order can include sample review and inspection at the factory. Warranty and calibration follow the contract and the papers packed with the box.
