Cross-Border Card Management

Cross-Border SIM Management

Definition

Cross-Border Card Management (cross-border card management) is ICMP's core capability for unified management of SIM cards across multiple countries, supporting unified access to card pools, lifecycle management, policy configuration, and usage monitoring in more than 200 countries/regions worldwide. Together with ICMP, Multi-Operator, Roaming Policy, it meets the needs of cross-border IoT enterprises for "one platform to manage global cards".

Management capabilities

Cross-Border Card Management Includes: Unified Card Pool——Global SIM Pool global card pool, unified storage, allocation, and activation of cards across multiple countries; Lifecycle——full process management from Activation activation, Suspension suspension to Decommissioning decommissioning; Policy Configuration——Roaming Policy roaming policies, PLMN Selection network selection, APN deployment; Usage and Diagnostics——Usage Analytics usage analysis, Card Diagnostics card diagnostics, CDR detailed record queries.

Cross-Border Challenges

Cross-border card management must address: interfacing with operators from multiple countries, Multi-Operator multi-operator access and protocol differences; Roaming Partner roaming partner management, roaming rates and policies; Data Residency and Data Localization compliance requirements; eSIM and physical card hybrid management. The platform needs to provide unified APIs, console, and SDK to reduce client integration and operation complexity.

Implementation in ICMP

SimtoLink ICMP's Cross-Border Card Management covers global card pools, multiple operators, and multi-region deployment. It supports batch import, activation, suspension, and policy issuance; integrates with Cross-Border Billing and Multi-Currency Settlement; provides Global Dashboard and Single Pane of Glass for easy centralized management by customers.
